never what?
That’s the motto that I live my life by and it serves me fairly well. Was it made up after years of university hangovers? Yes. Was it just a thing I’d say to get people out of bed the next day? Yes. Was it actually applicable to much more in life? Yes!
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Matt. I mostly just follow my mind as it takes me on a never-ending mission of understanding. It seems to like:
- the internet
- design (in all shapes and sizes)
- science
- making hard things simple
- people’s minds and how weird they are
and a bunch of other stuff that would take a long time to list… I’m mostly just going along with it.
What have I done?
I’ve worked in a load of different environments. At different times I’ve been:
- a teacher
- a waiter
- a physicist
- a product owner
- a musician
- a test engineer
- a data processing specialist
It’s a varied list but it all adds up to a unique approach to life.
What am I doing now?
I’m starting the engineering team at Equal Care Coop. We’re focused on redistributing the power in the relationships between social care administators and carers/recipients. As you might guess, we’re also a cooperative!
